About Me

I strive to create a safe, warm, nonjudgemental, and collaborative environment. I believe that all feelings are valid and every emotion, thought, and behavior is here for a reason. I believe that you are an expert on your own experience; I am here to help you connect with your inner wisdom. I am committed to helping you find connection with the things that bring you a sense of meaning and purpose.

I have spent the past 10 years cultivating my skills to effectively and compassionately treat trauma and anxiety. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist (EMDRIA), have advanced training and certification in perinatal mental health, and am formally trained in the robust treatments of CPT, DBT, and CBT. Additionally, I am passionately engaged in the anti-human trafficking movement and I completed my doctoral dissertation with self-identified survivors of sex trafficking in the United States. I am driven to make impactful change on personal and systemic levels.

Not struggling with trauma or anxiety? I can also help you with relational difficulties, stress, and life changes.

Looking for an ADHD Assessment? I have robust training in comprehensive ADHD Assessments and have been conducting ADHD assessments for the past six years. While leading an ADHD Team consultation group at an outpatient mental health clinic, I led the development of an updated interview format that helps to thoroughly differentiate ADHD symptoms from symptoms of another mental health condition.

On a more personal note, I live in the North Bay Area with my husband, two children, rambunctious puppy, and feisty cat. I am a yoga enthusiast, hobby photographer, and nature lover.
